Jade Luck Records Partners with Michael Faherty on Debut Album

Jade Luck Records, the recorded music division of Jade Luck Entertainment, has partnered with new independent artist, Michael Faherty, to market and distribute his self-titled debut album.

Michael Faherty is a Brooklyn-born and based singer-songwriter. He spent his early teens singing for soul R&B cover bands and joined his first rock band at age 18, the New Jersey-based Loose, and soon became the band's main songwriter. Loose went on to release several independent records, and were a supporting act nationally for the Goo Goo Dolls, the Buzzcocks, Ween, and the Lemonheads.

His music is real and raw with strong soulful vocals and a great rock 'n' roll sound with pop sensibility", said Bill Lee, Founder & CEO of Jade Luck Entertainment. Jade Luck Entertainment has optioned the screenplay WE THE PEOPLE from first-time screenwriter, Alexia Glock for film and television. WE THE PEOPLE is a romantic comedy about a grass roots activist who proposes a Constitutional amendment in the hopes of keeping a handsome, out-of-state politician from representing her state. As they battle their personal and political issues, they discover the true meaning of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

WE THE PEOPLE was a Finalist (Top 30 out of 3,000) in the 2004 Scriptapalooza Screenwriting Competition. It was also a Semi-Finalist in the 2004 American Accolades Screenwriting Competition.

VH1 Buys Pitch From Jade Luck

VH1 buys the pitch for ROCK 'N ROLL HIGH SCHOOL, an original music-based series by Creator/Producer, Bill Lee, who is also the Founder & CEO of Jade Luck Entertainment, LLC.

The original one-hour music series follows today's favorite artists back to their former high schools and their old stomping grounds, where viewers get to hear from former faculty, classmates, and hometown folk about their recollections of these former "pimple-faced teenagers" before their rise to stardom. Students at the high schools expecting to attend a typical boring "midday assembly" are instead treated to a surprise impromptu performance by the artists in their high school auditorium and also have an opportunity afterwards to get up close and personal with the artists in a Q&A session.

Ultimately, the show is a way for the artists to take a walk down memory lane and reconnect with their past and in turn, provide the viewers, the students, and the faculty with an entertaining, engaging, and inspiring time with the artists for a day.

The show is currently in development with various artists under consideration including the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Green Day.
